A New Landmark on Kairaba Avenue

The new Vista Bank Headquarters in Banjul is conceived as a defining presence along Kairaba Avenue—one of the city’s most active commercial corridors and a highly visible location near the American Embassy. Within this dynamic setting, the project reimagines what a modern banking headquarters can represent: openness, clarity, and a strong architectural identity that reflects Vista Bank’s vision for the future.

A New Design Language for Vista Bank

The building introduces a new architectural language developed specifically for the Vista brand, blending crisp geometry with refined sculpted forms. This expression is bold yet approachable, reinforcing the bank’s regional identity and positioning the headquarters as a confident contemporary addition to the urban landscape.

Landscape as a Signature Feature

Unlike traditional banks where planting is an afterthought, the Banjul headquarters places landscape at the forefront of its concept. A lush second-floor amenity deck creates a planted retreat with shaded seating and elevated views, signaling a workplace culture centered on wellness and hospitality. Above, a green roof garden strengthens the building’s sustainability goals, reduces heat gain, and offers a calm, elevated landscape within the heart of the city. Together, these landscaped spaces form a continuous green presence that reshapes the character of the site and brings nature back into a dense urban corridor.

Strategic Urban Presence

The building’s massing and orientation maximize visibility along Kairaba Avenue, creating a clear and welcoming main entry that anchors the façade. Service and parking access are discreetly organized to preserve a clean, dignified streetscape, ensuring that the architecture maintains its prominence and clarity from every approach.
